Middlebury & Addison County Photography Club

Building a Community of Photographers

Photography has a unique way of bringing people together. Whether you're an experienced professional, an enthusiastic hobbyist, or just beginning your photographic journey, we believe there's value in sharing ideas, learning from one another, and spending time with people who enjoy making photographs.

We're exploring the creation of a Middlebury & Addison County Photography Club—an informal community centered on photography, creativity, and connection.

Our vision is a welcoming group that might include:

  • Monthly gatherings
  • Photo walks
  • Guest speakers
  • Image critiques
  • Workshops
  • Portfolio reviews
  • Gallery visits
  • Collaborative projects
  • Social events with fellow photographers

No experience level is required. If photography is something you enjoy, we'd love to have you involved.

Join Us on World Photography Day

We're kicking things off with an informal World Photography Day Meet & Greet at PhotoPlace Gallery.

Wednesday, August 19
5:00–7:00 PM

Stop by, meet other photographers from across Vermont, explore the current exhibition, and help us shape what this club could become.

Help Shape the Club

Because this group is just getting started, your ideas matter.

Tell us:

  • What kinds of events interest you?
  • How often you'd like to meet
  • What would make this club valuable for you
  • Whether you'd like to help organize future activities

Together we can build a photography community that reflects the interests and talents of photographers throughout Addison County and beyond.

What We Are Building

Our hope is to create a vibrant regional photography community that supports photographers through conversation, shared experiences, education, exhibitions, and lasting friendships.
